  • FAB Training Course in Semiconductor manufacturing, Tyndall National Institute, Cork, Ireland, Nov 2013
It was one week hands-on course on Compound Semiconductor Device Fabrication.
Learned photolithography, etching, metal deposition, and thermal treatments for semiconductor devices. Tested devices to understand process parameters and device characteristics.Gained experience in silicon IC and compound semiconductor device fabrication.Fabricated light-emitting devices, understanding the technology involved. Explored the relationship between materials and process techniques in device fabrication.
  • Internship in Healthcare and Energy Laboratories, Nano science and Nanotechnology Initiative, National University of Singapore at Singapore, Jan 2011
It was 6 months hands on training where I have worked independently.
Fabricated aligned oxide nanowires by electrospinning for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). Synthesized vertically aligned SnO2 nanowires, enhancing DSSC efficiency by 2.53%. Tested DSSCs in solar simulator, achieving measurable improvements in efficiency. Adopted bilayer method, TiO2 nanorods on nanoparticles, boosted light harvesting efficiency by 6%. Optimised nanoparticle and nanorod sizes with electrospinning, improving device performance.

  • Internship in Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) at Mumbai, India, May 2010.
It was 2 months hands on training.
Engineered 3D Hydroxyapatite scaffolds via microstereolithography for bone regeneration. Refined microstereolithography parameters to increase scaffold porosity and strength. Engineered cell-growth scaffolds to replace damaged bones, improving biomedical solutions. Boosted efficacy of bone repair techniques with custom 3D Hydroxyapatite scaffolds. Optimised scaffold design for enhanced cellular adherence, aiding quicker bone regeneration.
  • Electron Microscope Training, All India Institute Medical Science, India, April 2010
It was one week training on Electron Microscope.
Mastered Scanning Electron Microscope and Transmission Electron Microscope principles, proficient in sample preparation, analysis, and software utilisation.
