Master's Dissertation:

In this project, I have worked on fabricating aligned oxide nanowires by using electrospinning tool. On these electro-spun SnO2, post-erected method was performed to synthesize vertically aligned nanowires for its application in dye sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). After the fabrication of these DSSCs device, tested the efficiency in solar simulator. These devices showed an improvement in efficiency of 2.53%. The other method which has been utilised is bilayer based DSSCs. In which performance has been improved by adopting bilayer of TiO2 nano-rods on TiO2 nanoparticles. The size of nanoparticles and nanorods were optimized by using electrospinning technique. This method improved the light harvesting efficiency of devices by upto 6%.
